He was a good good man, one with whom I sometimes deeply disagreed, and one I have been proud to know, at least a bit. . . . .We will miss you so much,Dan. And now we give back to you the same thing you shared with us as you spoke your very last word, aloha.

We as kama'ainas of Hawai'i have lossed a great son and Patriot of a person, Senator Daniel K. Inouye. He was done so much for us during his life as our 50th State Senator. I lived just down the street from his house on Coyne St. I met him as a child and i remember him as a very kind person and full of Aloha. I will always remember the time as a child, I fell from my bike outside of his house. He was outside and came running to me. He asked me if i was ok and helped me back on my bike and waited till I rode down the street and headed to the Crack Seed store across Varsity Theatre to buy some see-moi. I am proud to say that i knew him and his family.
Senator Inouye, you will be missed in the Senate Chamber in Washington DC and in your homeland of Hawai'i Nei.
ALOHA AND REST IN PEACE
