A 17-year-old boy was arrested after he allegedly struck a loss prevention officer with a rock Wednesday morning.
Police said the security person, 23, reportedly chased the robbery suspect from an Ala Moana Center store while on Ala Moana Boulevard about 10:15 a.m. when the suspect picked up a rock and struck her with it.
Honolulu police officers arrested the teenager on suspicion of second-degree assault. He was released pending investigation. The loss prevention officer was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
