Board of Water Supply crews finished repairing a 6-inch main break at 1727 Pali Highway that closed the far left mauka bound lane of Pali Highway between South School Street and Kuakini Street.

Repairs were completed at about 8:45 a.m. and the road was re-opened.

About 28 customers had been without water.  The main was installed in 1937.

This happens at least once a week and we are wasting more money on the train when we should be fixing our sewers, water mains and potholes. Such a waste of taxpayers money going for a trin that will not alliviate traffic.

Hope our fixed rail foundations don't have these water breaks. The Water Board better start upgrading these old lines. Like our sewer system needs fixing.
