Five people were transported to a trauma center this morning following a head-on crash along Kamehameha Highway on the North Shore, Emergency Medical Services said.
Three people -- a 34-year-old woman, 14-year-old girl and 81-year-old man -- were transported in serious condition. An 11-year-old boy was transferred in stable condition, and a woman in her 70s was transported without injuries, EMS said.
The two-vehicle crash on Kamehameha Highway after it becomes the Joseph P. Leong Highway occurred around 10:30 a.m. All of the victims were riding in one car. EMS said no one in the other vehicle was injured.
