Police find missing boy miles away in Haleiwa

Police found a missing 6-year-old boy, who is mentally challenged, miles from where he disappeared Thursday.
Police said the boy disappeared at about 1 p.m., and the mother reported to police at about 3 p.m. that the boy ran from her at a bus stop in Wahiawa, police dispatch said.
Police issued an all-points bulletin at about 3:10 p.m.
He was found hours later Thursday in Haleiwa in good health, police said.
It is not known how he got there.
