Military homes, golf course remain without power

The Navy is investigating the cause of a power outage that has affected nearly 100 military housing units in Kalaeloa as well as the Barbers Point Golf Course this morning.

The Navy said about 100 homes are affected and well as several unoccupied barracks and the golf course at 2249 Essex Road.

Hawaiian Electric Co. also reported that 75 homes were without power Sunday afternoon in Kalama Valley. The outage was reported at 4 p.m. and power was restored at 5:30 p.m.
