Motorcyclist seriously injured in Moanalua crash

A 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious condition Wednesday morning after he lost control of his motorcycle on the H-1 Freeway near Pearl City.

Emergency Medical Services reported that accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. in the west-bound lane of the H-1 Freeway near the Kaonohi overpass.

Police closed the left two west-bound lanes of the H-1 Freeway near the overpass for nearly an hour during their investigation.

They used to air commercials for drivers to be be careful and look for motorcycles when going through an intersection....I've seen more reckless motorcyclists that speed and weave in and out of traffic, some go between cars stuck in traffic. Those commercials should have been targeted to the motorcyclists not drivers.
