Police are offering a reward for tips on three men who allegedly stole beer on two occasions from the Liliha Foodland Supermarket in December.

The three suspects entered the Liliha Foodland Store on Dec. 12 at 8:05 a.m., removed beer and fled without paying. The males returned 10 minutes later and took more alcohol. As they attempted to leave they were confronted by the cashier.

All three fled on foot towards Vineyard Boulevard.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police.

Wait they took beer, I suppose not just one bottle, left it somewhere and came back 10 mins later? Then were seen running toward Vineyard? Man think about it. Did they drop off that beer somewhere down Vineyard and make it back in 10 mins, juke out a cashier, and score a goal back down on Vineyard again? Norm Chow should look up these guys. No DUI even, they drink on foot.

Let's not forget, The Supreme Court determined that police are not obligated or have the duty to protect it's citizens. Now they're trying to take away our right to defend ourselves. Chaos may be coming sooner than you think.

Another report showed surveillance of all 3 with beer in both hands. This happened in Dec. It's January, a month later and now the story breaks and HPD wants help catching these guys. They drank all the alcohol and left the islands. Too late...

If you drink the beer and use the toilet before you leave the store do you still have to pay for the beer?

Don't expect HPD to crack this one. As usual, their response is probably "it's a civil matter". It's the same universal answer I've always received when I've been ripped off or victimized. Apparently, CID is so overwhelmed with cases, the beat officers pick and choose what they decide are civil matters and what are legitimate crimes. Maybe if I just slipped the investigating officer a $50......

What happens next: They lock the beer cases like they already do with cigarettes, so shoppers will have to get the manager or a cashier to bring the beer to the checkstand.
