Hawaii sweeps No. 2 Pepperdine in men's volleyball

Freshman hitter Siki Zarkovic and sophomore opposite Brook Sedore both put down 15 kills as unranked Hawaii swept No. 2 Pepperdine 25-21, 25-22, 25-16 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's volleyball match at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Zarkovic and unior setter Joby Ramos each had two aces in the Warriors' two-hour sweep. It was the first time in five home matches that it didn't go five sets.

Hawaii improves to 3-6 overall, 2-4 in the MPSF. 

The Waves (3-3, 3-2) got 11 kills from senior hitter Maurice Torres and nine from Punahou graduate Josh Taylor, a sophomore hitter.
