A 43-year-old convicted felon was arrested Sunday after he allegedly tried to sell an unregistered firearm.

Police said the suspect tried to make the sale Sunday night in Waipahu. He was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession or a firearm, trying to sell an unregistered firearm and another firearms violation. The suspect was convicted in 2001 for car theft and sentenced to five years probation. He also was convicted of two misdemeanor and two petty misdemeanor crimes, beginning in 1998.

So, is it safe to say he attempted to sell it to an undercover officer? Also, QA is needed. "He was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession or a firearm, trying to sell AN unregistered firearm and another firearms violation."

Obviously this man has not learned his lesson. They should give him a lot of time in prison to think about it.
