Man in serious condition after driving into tree in Waipahu

A 34-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious condition after he reportedly drove his minivan into a tree in Waipahu early this morning.

The accident happened around 2:17 a.m., according to Emergency Medical Services.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash, but do no suspect alcohol was a factor at this time.
