Man in serious condition after driving into pole in Kahuku

A man in his 20s was taken to the hospital in serious condition after he reportedly drove his car into a utility pole in Kahuku early this morning.

The accident happened just after midnight along Kamehameha Highway just before the prawn farm, according to Emergency Medical Services.

It's those darned poles that just jump out into the path of innocent and unimpaired drivers going the speed limit that are the problem.
