Police seek Waikiki beach bandits

Police are looking for two men who allegedly forced a man to lie face down on a beach in Waikiki early Sunday morning before taking his wallet.
Police said the 23-year-old victim was sitting on the beach at 6 a.m. when two men approached him and ordered him to lie face down after threatening him with a gun.

ah, there's a ton of security in Waikiki. Cop cars on every block, video hotel security. But they can't be everywhere. So like anywhere else in the world, we have crime. But what none of the commentators have pointed out, Hawaii crime rate is by far lowest in the nation. So, no, we are not going to the dogs.
