Man in serious condition after his truck hits tree near airport

The driver of a pickup truck that crashed into a tree near Honolulu Airport was taken to Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
The accident occurred at 11:40 a.m. at Rodgers Boulevard and Nimitz Highway, Emergency Medical Services reported. The victim was described as a man in his 40s.
