Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by car in Waipahu

A 46-year-old man is in serious condition at Queen’s Medical Center after he was hit by a car near the L’Orange Park in Waipahu Thursday night.

The accident occurred at Malakeke Street and Managers Drive fronting the Plaza at Milltown shopping center at 10:36 p.m.

If you are familiar in Waipahu, pedestrians just cross the street when ever they feel like doing!! Even looking at the driver like go ahead hit me. They needed to be civilized youngs or adults are the same. Particularly the seniors. In the evening is very dangerous driving in Farrington Hi way. They even cut the barricades and cross thru the wire fence.
