Downed utility pole closes Farrington Highway in Waialua

A traffic accident this morning that resulted in a broken utility pole near Waialua High School has closed the stretch of Farrington Highway in that area, according to Honolulu police officials.
Hawaiian Electric Co. and Hawaiian Telcom crews have been notified. No injuries were immediately reported.
