Kaimuki mo-ped accident leaves man in serious condition

A moped driver lost control of his vehicle this morning in Kaimuki and was taken to the hospital in serious condition after he fell off.

Emergency Medical Services reported that the victim was a man in his 50s. The accident occurred at 7:38 a.m. at 16th and Waialae avenues.

Moped operators need to be extra careful on the road there was another moped accident in Kapolei, that rider hit a transformer. Oftentimes moped riders are dangerously speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.
