A 27-year-old Air Force airman stationed in Hawaii was booked in northern Utah where he was visiting for allegedly luring teenaged girls whom he met online to have sex with him.

The Roy City Police Department, in a news release, said they booked Luis Salguero into the Weber County Jail on a third-degree felony charge of unlawful sexual intercourse and enticing a minor on the Internet. Additional charges could result from other victim identification in Roy and elsewhere, police said.

Salguero is visiting family in Magna in northern Utah and has been in Utah since Feb. 12, police said. Salguero is an active duty Air Force enlisted airman and stationed in Hawaii, Roy police said. There was no immediate comment from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam this morning.

Police said Salguero was reported as a suspicious person in Riverdale. Officers responded and discovered information that Salguero was sexually involved with underaged girls in Roy.

Roy police have identified at least one victim in Roy with other possible victims in Roy and Salt Lake City.

Salguero, posing as a teenager age 15 or 17 and using the name “Jon Anders,” used the website “Meetme.com” to entice young females, police said.

He's stationed here and lives here, but the police department in some "one horse town" in Utah ended up uncovering his scam. Just another example of how backward and inept our law enforcement agencies are in Hawaii.

Well if he didn't go after any Hawaii girls, how would HPD get involved? Any Hawaii complaints surface? So unless another state's police department inquires why would they look into this guy? Way to throw out a troll comment at HPD.

Yea, SueH, what were you thinking? Do you have proof that as you say our law enforcement agencies are inept? Do you have information that this person was being investigated? Or, are you just slamming the law enforcement agencies just so you can make a comment and hope others will side with you? Get a life SueH

Something about HAwaii causes military men to get sexually aggressive and offensive. Like the ex-heli-pilot who just got shot by lawmen the other day. He also, assaulted women in Hawaii and got discharged with other than an honorable, later become a barista and started attacking female co-workers and then killed 2cops and himselfd got killed by the police. I wonder if the water in Hawaii get the sex genes percolating?/
