Does the Mayor live in Honolulu or Fantasy Island? Higher gas tax? Heco 35 Cents KWH, Water, Sewer keeps going up. Property tax up 300% in 10 years (I know the Mayor did not pay that one).

This has been going on long enough. HI has been held captive by the Jones Act that only benefits the two shipping container companies--we can see the cash flow to our politicians for their reelection--why doesn't the media, citizens, press OUR representatives to unchain us from the handcuffs of this act? And while they are at it--pass a lottery gambling bill. AND, legalize marijuana. Our state could be flowing in money and not be the highest cost of living state. Our citizens could have housing and not double and tripling up in a two bedroom home!!!
