A 15-year-old boy was arrested Sunday for allegedly threatening and shooting a man with a BB gun in Wahiawa.

Police said two neighbors began arguing Sunday afternoon. When the argument escalated the 15-year-old boy retrieved a BB gun and fired several times at the 53-year-old man. The suspect fled, but was later located and arrested on suspicion of first-degree threatening and first-degree reckless endangerment.

If his father brought him up right, I doubt he would have even considered using the gun so I doubt he'll get any lickings.

Hopefully he gets some jail time where he'll get to learn what it's like to live with his kind. Unfortunately, he'll probably only get probation and thus begin his criminal career.

It's a BB GUN! The boy knew it was a BB GUN! The SA jury seems to think the kid is already a major felon. Maybe he was trying to break up an escalating argument before it got violent itself...a tactic that apparently worked, by the way. Let's save the harsh words for people that are clearly willing to kill or seriously injure others, not the kid with a BB gun.

If you let me shoot you with MY bb gun, I'll help you dig the bbs out of your eyes.

C'mon man, he could've nicked a skin tag off the guy's neck, it could have gone untreated, got gangrene, and BAM, manslaughter! Then ricochet off the skin tag, fly into a passing van's air cleaner, driven by a 14 year old, and they smash into a telephone pole!

what if the victims family retaliated with a legally owned handgun while thinking the teens gun was the reel thing? the victims family would be justified.
