A 44-year-old homeless man was charged Thursday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend last month.

Carl Devincent, who didn’t give police a local address, was arrested Feb. 2 for allegedly assaulting and stealing items from his 38-year-old girlfriend.

The theft charge was later dropped and Devincent was charged with second-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of a family or household member. His bail was set at $4,000.

The news is filled with stories about growing violence among the armies of the homeless. In the past, they were quiescent and just wanted to stay out of sight. Increasingly they are lawless, violent and angry. very scary.

how can you be charged with second-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of "house" hold member, if you have no house?
