Man in serious condition after falling out of moving truck in Punaluu

Paramedics took a 51-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition after he fell out of a moving truck this morning near Punaluu District Park.

Emergency Medical Service said the accident occurred at the 53-300 block of Kamehameha Highway at 8:33 a.m.

So did he fall out of the cab of the truck or did he fall from the back of the truck or was he riding on the hood or roof of the truck? Was the truck moving anywhere near the posted speed limit or was it moving faster than the speed limit? A few more details might make this piece a little more interesting and helpful. And a new owner of the star advertiser, like The Maui News, might make it a way better newspaper than it is now...
