Warning sirens on Hawaii island a false alarm

Warning sirens on Hawaii island sounded just before noon today when technicians making repairs to the system accidentally activated sirens island wide, according to the Hawaii County police department.

There is no tsunami nor other danger to Hawaii at this time.
