Honolulu fire rescue personnel assisted two hikers stranded on a ridge above Manoa Valley late Friday afternoon.

The male and female hikers were hiking along the ridge when they became lost and were unable to navigate their way down, said Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig.

The hikers were located and airlifted to safety. Neither required medical attention.
