2 hurt in hit-and-run crash in Nanakuli

Two people were injured tonight in an apparent hit-and-run incident in Nanakuli.
According to Emergency Medical Services, the two victims were in a compact car that collided with an SUV at Haleakala Avenue and Opuhe Street around 7:25 p.m.
The SUV fled the scene.
The driver of the compact, a 21-year-old man, was taken to a local trauma center in serious condition. The 19-year-old female passenger was also taken to a local trauma center in stable condition.
