Crews battle 50-acre brush fire in Ewa Beach

Honolulu Fire Department personnel are working with federal firefighters to extinguish a brush fire that has blackened approximately 50 acres in Ewa Beach.

The fire is spread out over an area bordered by North Road, Fort Weaver Road and Iroquois Point, according to HFD spokesman Capt. Robert Main.

No injuries have been reported and no structures are threatened.
