Stabbing victim identified as Hilo man

Hawaii County police have identified the 38-year-old Hilo man who was stabbed to death Monday as Lloyd Rubio.

An autopsy showed Rubio died from a stab wound to the abdomen with an injury to the aorta, police said.

The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. Toxicology tests are pending.

Police arrested a 37-year-old Hilo woman on suspicion of second-degree murder Monday night.
