Nanakuli man, 27, arrested in connection with Ala Moana area robbery

A Nanakuli man was arrested this afternoon in connection with a robbery case in the Ala Moana area several months ago.

Police said that an employee at a retail store attempted to stop the man, 27, after he attempted to shoplift thereabout 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 13.

The suspect allegedly used physical force to flee the scene. He was identified, located and arrested at his Nanakuli home about 2 p.m. Monday. He is being held pending a count of second-degree robbery.
