A 56-year-old Pahoa man pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court this afternoon to producing child pornography featuring two children under 10 years old.

John Ridgely Tucker faces a prison term of between 15 and 30 years at sentencing in May.

The FBI began investigating the case after sexually explicit images of an adult male with two young children began circulating on child pornography Internet sites. One photograph showed a Hawaii Island telephone directory in the background.

Callers identified Tucker in a photograph not featuring explicit sex that the FBI released to the public asking for help.
