Groping suspect allegedly shows stolen ID to police

Honolulu police arrested a 24-year-old man Saturday evening for allegedly groping a woman on the street then providing a stolen identification card to police during his arrest.

According to police, the man assaulted a 49-year-old woman on a Waikiki street. Upon arrest, he showed police two state IDs, one his own and the other stolen from another 24-year-old man.

The suspect was arrested for fourth-degree sexual assault and unauthorized possession of confidential personal information.
