Kapahulu man held in alleged assault in Waikiki

A 40-year-old Kapahulu man was arrested after he allegedly struck another man in the face with a dangerous instrument during an altercation at a Waikiki nightclub early this morning.

The suspect was identified and arrested a the scene. During a search police found him in possession of what they determined to be dangerous and detrimental drugs.

The suspect was arrested for second-degree assault, promoting a dangerous drug and promoting of a detrimental drug.
