16-year-old boy assaulted with baseball bat in Kalihi Valley

Paramedics took a 16-year-old boy to the hospital in serious condition after a baseball bat assault in Kalihi Valley.

The Department of Emergency Services said paramedics responded to the scene at about 9:40 p.m. Saturday. The boy a had apparently been beaten by a male suspect.

Honolulu police are investigating the incident on Kamehameha IV road.
