Man in critical after falling 30 feet from scaffolding in Makiki

A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition Friday morning after falling 30 feet from a scaffolding placed at a lower Makiki apartment building late this morning.
The man, believed to be in his late 50s, was taken from the complex at 1227 Matlock Avenue following the 10:45 a.m. call, a city Department of Emergency Services spokeswoman said.
