The 55-year-old man who fell from a scaffolding structure in Makiki on Friday has died.

The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Can Yang of Honolulu.

According to Emergency Medical Services, Yang fell approximately 30 feet off the scaffolding at a lower Makiki apartment building on Matlock Street at around 10:45 a.m.

Paramedics took Yang in critical condition to the Queen’s Medical Center, where he died early Saturday.
