Woman seriously injured when vehicle crashes into parking barrier

A 64-year-old woman was taken to a trauma center in serious condition this afternoon after her vehicle crashed into a concrete parking barrier, Emergency Medical Services said.
The accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. near Farrington Highway and Kakalena Street.
Paramedics said the woman was wearing a seat belt.
