3 Hawaii island residents charged with burglarizing Kau business

Hawaii County police have arrested three Ocean View residents for allegedly burglarizing a Kau business earlier this month.

On Feb. 4, Kau police responded to a burglary at an electronics store on Prince Kuhio Boulevard in Ocean View.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for a home on Jasmine Drive in Hawaiian Ranchos Estates subdivision Feb. 15.

Joshua Lawrence, 24, Heather Hofferbert, 26, and Ronnie Gates, 42, were charged Saturday with second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and second-degree criminal property damage. Bail was set at $6,000 each.
