Man seriously injured in assault in Waianae

Honolulu police are investigating an assault that sent an 18-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition Friday night.
Paramedics took the teenager to the hospital at about 11:36 p.m., according to the Department of Emergency Services. The victim was apparently assaulted by several suspects near the intersection of Miller and McArthur streets in Waianae, paramedics reported.
