Rider critically injured when mo-ped crashes into Kapolei transformer

A mo-ped rider was taken in critical condition to a local trauma center following a crash about 9:15 Monday at Kapolei Parkway and Kalaeloa Boulevard.
The rider is a male believed to be in his 50s.
According to a Emergency Medical Services report, the mo-ped crashed into a transformer.
