Supporters of the (de)Occupy Honolulu movement have relocated their encampment to the South King Street side of Thomas Square.

The city shut down the sidewalk along South Beretania Street on the mauka side of the street today to begin a tree-trimming project that is anticipated to last three weeks.

About 20-30 tents made the move Sunday advance of the sidewalk closure.

(de)Occupy Honolulu has been at Thomas Square since fall 2011, protesting myriad government and private business practices.

Oh...come on now. It's getting rediculous. It is a cat and mouse game. The Occupy movement is passe. Could it be the homeless are now using the Occupy movement as part of their homelessness game plan.

I walked by there this afternoon, and there were three or four of these "homeless" people sitting in front of their tents, pecking away on their Macbook Pros. I was able to peek into a couple of their tents as I was walking by, and they're f-ing filthy.

hahaha Cops should just arrest and confiscate and remove property of anyone they find sleeping on the sidewalk without a permit to do so.

They should set up "camp" in front of the ACLU office and/or at the sidewalks fronting the homes of the ACLU members.
