Man on skateboard hit by car in Waipahu

Paramedics took a 28-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition after he was stuck by a car while riding a skateboard near the Farrington Highway onramp to the Honolulu-bound H-1 Freeway, the Emergency Medical Services Department reported.
The accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
