Police arrested two teens Saturday on suspicion of first-degree robbery at a Kalihi store.

Police said a 17-year-old boy was allegedly hiding items in a duffle bag 11 a.m. and was confronted by a 49-year-old store employee.

The boy tried to flee, allegedly using physical force against the man and another store employee, police said.

During a struggle, the boy allegedly pulled out a pocketknife, but the two store employees were able to disarm him, police said.

A second suspect, an 18-year-old Maili man, tried to pull the first employee away from the suspect.

The employees called police, and officers arrested the two on suspicion of first-degree robbery.

Police later released them pending investigation.

This is what happens when we keep rewarding those that should not be having children, have children. They can't afford to have children, but we reward them by taking care of the children that THEY can't afford.
