An autopsy will be conducted Monday on a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash near Ko Olina Friday afternoon.

The Medical EXaminer's Office identified the victim this weekend as Don Raymundo E. Crisostomo, 40, of Waipahu.

Police said the crash occurred at the Farrington Highway offramp into the Ko Olina Resort area at about 12:09 p.m. The man lost control of his motorcycle, crashed and was ejected, said Lt. Robert Towne of the Honolulu Police Department's Traffic Division.

Paramedics took Chrisostomo in extremely critical condition to Pali Momi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The man had been riding with another motorcyclist who was ahead of him, Towne said. When she looked back, she saw the man down and surrounded by motorists who had stopped to help him, he said.

In a car this ramp seems and appears to be consistent; however, there is enough of a decreasing radius well into the turn to challenge someone on a motorcycle.
