Police search for man in Kalihi robbery, beating

Police are looking for a man who allegedly beat and robbed a 37-year-old man in Kalihi early Friday morning.
According to police, the suspect approached the victim on the street about 1:30 a.m. and demanded money. When the victim refused, the suspect allegedly struck him with a dangerous instrument, took his property and fled.
