Police arrest 4 people for burglary and car theft

By Star-Advertiser staff

Two men and two women are in custody for allegedly breaking into a home earlier this month and stealing the homeowner’s car.

Police said the victim came home to a Honolulu-area residence on March 22 and discovered that his home had been burglarized. Later that night, the victim said he heard noises, but was too tired to investigate. In the morning, the victim realized his car keys and car had been stolen.

On Thursday police saw the stolen car and arrested the four people in the vehicle in Nuuanu.

Arrested for suspicion of car theft was a 19-year-old Nuuanu man. He also is being held on several drug charges.

They'll probably get very little time if they get any time in prison. Hawaii is very lenient with thieves. By the age of these criminals, they will probably have a long career.
