Kunia Road reopened after overnight traffic accident

Honolulu police reopened Kunia Road between Wilikina Drive and the Hawaii Country Club after a motor vehicle accident overnight.

Police said the road was reopened before 6:15 a.m. about 6 hours after a motorcycle accident on Kunia Road..

The city's Emergency Medical Services Division said a motorcyclist got into an accident at about 12:15 a.m. near Hauula Street. Paramedics took a 31-year-old man to a trauma center in serious condition. Another 31-year-old man suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
