Police Tuesday arrested a 34-year-old man with no local address who allegedly tried to cash a stolen check belonging to a 32-year-old woman.
Police said the man tried to cash the check at 12:30 p.m. in Kalihi.
Police later found the man, had him identified and arrested him at 3:40 p.m. on suspicion of second-degree forgery, identity theft, unauthorized control of personal and confidential information and attempted third-degree theft.
