Homeless man arrested in Makiki car break-in

Police arrested a 32-year-old homeless man who was allegedly spotted breaking into a car in Makiki on Sunday evening.

A neighbor witnessed the alleged break-in and called police, who found the suspect hiding in the car. Upon investigation, the officers noticed that the driver’s side window had been smashed.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree unauthorized entry into a motorized vehicle.
