Surveillance video helps police arrest car vandal

Police arrested a man who was allegedly seen on surveillance video damaging two vehicles in a parking lot near South Beretania Street.

Police said two women, ages 34 and 37, reported that their cars were damaged Friday.

A 47-year-old man was seen on video damaging the cars, police said. Officers were able to identify and arrest him Tuesday.

You have a valid point on that. ALL people arrested should have their mugshots posted as it is public record. If they are innocent the newspaper should provide space later to say that someone previously arrested was cleared of all charges.
