Fire burns 2 acres of brush near Lahaina
A brush fire charred about two acres Sunday in west Maui.
At 1:56 p.m., firefighters from Lahaina and Napilo were dispatched to the area of Kahoma Street and Ainakea Road. Crews arrived to find an area approximately two acres involved.
The fire was brought under control around 2:30 p.m., and fire units remained on scene to mop up.
No injuries or monetary losses were reported.
