Police have charged a 26-year-old man who allegedly entered an Aiea establishment and threatened three people with a dangerous instrument on Friday.

According to police, Michael-Anthony Gouveia, who does not have a local address, refused to allow the patrons to leave.

One of the three men called police, who arrested Gouveia at the scene.

Gouveia was charged Saturday with kidnapping, first-degree terroristic threatening, and contempt. His aggregate bail was set at $30,000.
